Hola! Welcome to Hope Yoga and the new website!

I wanted to introduce myself in case you are new to Hope Yoga or have not heard about Hope Yoga being under new ownership.

I’m Gina and as of February 1st, I have stepped in to take care of Hope Yoga and the amazing community that the first owner and founder, Hope Fisher, has built.
I’ve been a teacher at Hope Yoga for over 6 years, and I’m very happy to be able to continue the legacy of the studio and continue to provide the safe and sacred space that all who enter the doors of Hope Yoga have come to Love and find comfort in.

Same Name, New Look and Logo

I'm also happy to keep the name of the amazing studio that Hope built but the current logo was shaped into a fish for Hope's last name. And that logo is such a creative and brilliant logo, having the word 'HOPE' designed into a fish. However, that's not my last name, so hence, the logo change. :)

The first logo will leave a deep imprint on our body, mind and soul, and hopefully we can all welcome in this new logo as we start on this next chapter of Hope Yoga.

The Meaning Behind the Logo

I wanted to share why I chose an owl and a feather to incorporate into the logo. (The descriptions below are from websites but I cannot remember from which ones so my apologies for that - if I find the resource, I will add them here).

FEATHER:

The feather often represents strength and growth, as well as hope and freedom. Birds fly freely in the clouds, closest to the spirit realm. Sometimes when a feather is in our path, it may be perceived as a message from the other side. Feathers can symbolize ascension, spirit, flight and even heaven.

Seeing feathers in unusual places might mean that the spirit of a loved one is watching over you. They may appear suddenly on the ground or even floating above you. If you find a white feather, carry it around as your protection. [from  https://worldbirds.com/feather-symbolism/] 

OWL:

Owls represent wisdom, knowledge, change, transformation, intuitive development, and trusting the mystery. They are tied to the spiritual symbolism of “death” which brings about new beginnings with a higher understanding and evolved perspective. Owls can show up when you are being asked to listen to your intuition.

I hope this logo will resonate with you in some way.
